Grants.gov is a new consolidated site for information regarding grant opportunities offered by all federal departments and agencies. Includes general guidelines for federal grant development, search tools for identifying opportunities and securing detailed information and application packages regarding particular grant opportunities. The Catalog of Federal Domestic Assistance (CFDA) is a comprehensive catalog of all federal grant programs available to state and local governments; public and private institutions; private profit and nonprofit organizations; and specialized groups; and in some cases individuals. Grants database searchable by agency, topic, eligible applicants, beneficiaries, etc. Includes basic information about each program and opportunity and administering agency and point of contact for finding out how to apply and acquire more information and application materials.
